As a sister, a proud feminist and yet a perpetrator of the harsh, exclusionary tactics I was taught to recruit new members, I felt guilty and malicious for participating, michigan frat rankings, and angry at what some would call a broken system. For years, fraternities and sororities have provided students with opportunities outside of the classroom. Our community has grown to over 5, students within 4 councils. Students interested in joining the fraternity and sorority community at the University of Michigan during the academic year should understand the eligibity criteria and any applicable deadlines. During the academic year, valued members and partners of the Michigan fraternity and sorority life community engaged with our external consultants from RISE Partnerships to study the impacts of institutional eligibility on our community. As a result of their extensive engagement with a variety of stakeholders, RISE Partnerships found that there was strong support for all aspects of the policy—other than the 12 post-secondary credit hour requirement. In response to the ongoing violence in the middle east, the Dean of Students Office has done direct outreach to students who are from the affected areas. The increased visibility is to reassure our community while staying alert to any matters of concern.

The mix with the top tier sororities on campus but also maintain good relations with former top tiers AXO and Skrappa. They are known for late-nights this year after being on sopro a good part of the first semester.

My freshman year, I would have maintained the position that Greek Life does more good than harm. These frats also tend to throw a lot more open parties that are open to the university throughout the year so they feel a little more inclusive than the top ones, which basically only have open parties during rush. There is no argument to justify that the process I witnessed is not at some level based on looks, class or conventional beauty. Thought they were getting back on campus this year but instead their nationals unrecognized them.
