This ludicrously high-octane hack-and-slash title takes place four years after the events of MGS 4 and puts Raiden in center frame, who is now fully cybernetic and armed with a sword that can cut through anything. In traditional Platinum style, the best parts of MGR are the boss fights, which are all as ridiculous as they are fun. Whether you're fighting another superpowered cyborg or a giant mech, they all manage to be very memorable, which is particularly impressive when you consider the popularity of other bosses within the Metal Gear series. Blade Wolf is a lupine-based robot equipped with a chainsaw tail, who eventually becomes Raiden's ally after this fight. Blade Wolf isn't as challenging as some of the other fights in the game, but he's still very entertaining to fight. However, what brings it down a notch is that he'll routinely stop the fight to make you deal with regular enemies, which is useful if you need some health but it also kills the pacing a bit. He ends up fighting Wolf after the latter tries to gain freedom during the coup in Abkhazia, and does so in a giant mech wielding a huge axe. Controlling Wolf feels slightly different to Raiden but his ability for more air combos allows you to avoid Khamsin's sweeps. Khamsin also dies in a particularly brutal manner even for MGR as you chainsaw him right through the heart, then pull him out of the mech to eviscerate what's left. Metal Gear Excelsus is one of the larger Metal Gears in the franchise still outshone by Arsenal Gear and Sahelanthropus , and yet it's more of a warm-up to the final boss of the game. Given Excelsus' size, this boss fight is a tad slower compared to the others from MGR but its attacks do a lot of damage.

Metal Gear Rising Revengeance has the following "chapters" or missions available in Easy with parry-assist , Normal, Hard, Very Hard, and Revengeance difficulty settings. Note that Revengeance difficulty supplants Easy difficulty once unlocked. The layout of Rising Revengeance will closely mirror that of KOEI's Dynasty Warriors series -- that is, after you complete a mission, you can go back into it on another difficulty with all the trappings, items, and abilities you've earned to "farm" it or to "grind" for BP Battle Points. When you hit a brick wall with a boss or particularly tough battle or encounter, chances are you may want to "grind" just a little to earn BP to power-up Raiden in the Shop Customization Menu. Note that this is optional.

Blade Wolf isn't as challenging as some of the other fights in the game, but he's still very entertaining to fight. I took there word, and just keep beating on armstrong while dodging and moving, blocking where I can, but it was too much! Created by. He'll sometimes do stuff you're not expecting or not prepared for. The fight can either be a nightmare to get through, with the little drones swarming a less aggressive player and keeping them locked down, or it can be a rush for an aggressive player, as you can leave Mistral defenseless if you keep up the hits, making for a perfect first test of skill. I had died probably close to 50 times if not more! The worst thing is that your damage on him is pathetic, all attacks just chipping his health by 0. Wolf's Pride Defeat Khamsin without taking any damage on Hard difficulty or above. He still can throw Heat Knifes although only one at a time and you're limited to carry a maximum of 10 knifes. In order him to appear: clear this mission any rank , go back to the main office room biggest one , Mistral will say "hurry to the objective", exit the room and re-enter to trigger the encounter. Read General Tips section for further info. The Grad is a mechanized war-machine found deep in the Desperado labs, being the final challenge Raiden faces off against. Mistral is the first solid multiphase fight that feels like a true battle and not just a playable cutscene, having to deal with the little drones around the arena along with Mistral's own attacks.

Sundowner is a character you'll immediately despise upon meeting him, especially with how much trouble he causes and how smug he acts. Blade Wolf isn't as challenging as some of the other fights in the game, but he's still very entertaining to fight. Last time you'll be facing LQi , this time in a mirror match-up. With this and another guide to fill out the other fights in the missions, I will be able to S rank all of Revengeance. While Sams normal attacks are slower than Raidens , his mobility is superior with ultra fast Ninja Run , double jump and an air dash. Mistral is the first Wind of Destruction, a woman utilizing little robotic drones as her weaponry… quite literally in the form of a staff. We will be skipping most of the fight, so you basically just need to perform one Parry Counter on her and a couple of hits. Dalumar Hehe, thanks for sharing your experience : Glad my guide helped you to get through some obstacles! I'd say it's a pretty long and boring fight. Change language. Sizar 20 Nov, am. Wank Mk2 12 Jul, pm. If you've not yet mastered how to deflect attacks in MGR, this boss is going to be a struggle. I have a decent strategy for this battle and we'll try to reduce the number of RNG-elements in this fight to an absolute minimum, so lets get started.

  1. I can not participate now in discussion - it is very occupied. But I will be released - I will necessarily write that I think.
