The room is dominated by an open kitchen, where you can watch Gordon preparing creative, complex dishes. The daily changing surprise menu delivers punchy flavour combinations and several playful elements.
This was our second visit and once again we were not disappointed, 8 courses, each one a fantastic surprise. Each course was a gastronomic delight and matched with an equally excellent wine. Both food and wine is explained each time and does not disappoint. The customer service is faultless, the whole team go out of there way to make the evening special and this is definitely a place to try. The only minor criticism would be that the courses come out a bit fast, often before you have finished your previous glass of wine, but this is just nit picking and did not detract from a fantastic experience.
