Wiz: One referred to as a God shows the strength of that person. Wiz: Odin, the Allfather of Asguard's true origin has always been shrouded in mystery, but has been presumed to be the son of Bor, the son of Buri, the first Aesir of Asgard and Bestla, a giantess. Wiz: Yeah.. While Odin was still in his youth, he fought aside two of his three brothers, Vili and Ve to defeat Ymir, the mighty frost giant, and out of his corpse, construct Asgard into what we all know today. Boomstick: That's creepy as hell, but also damn awesome at the same time! Wiz: When his father died, his brother Cul took the throne of the Allfather and spread madness through out the realms, in an attempt to stop him, he stabbed his eye on the Yggdrasil, the world tree! With his new knowledge, he defeated his forces, and casted him away fulfilling the World Tree's prophecy. Wiz: He also married Frigga, and birthed Thor, the iconic God of Thunder, but that's a story for another time. Wiz: Oh, yeah right! He has superhuman characteristics, technopathy, magic and cosmic energy manipulation, mind manipulation, cosmic senses, shape shifting, teleportation, absorption, low tier reality warping, precognition, healing, and is resistant to sealing, and for his weapons, he has his trusty and mighty spear, Gungnir, his great power mace, Thrudstok, and the Odinsword, a sword that was said that if unsheathed could mean the very end of the universe. Wiz: Eons before humanity, existed the Gods.

Welcome to Comic Book Questions Answered — where I answer whatever questions you folks might have about comic books. Today, we're taking a closer look at the battles between Marvel's Odin and Zeus to see which one of these pantheon patriarchs would come out on top. This is a weird one, because Marvel, for the most part, has had this big thing about presenting a certain segment of the Marvel god pantheon as being basically equals of each other. We saw this again in Kieron Gillen and Richard Ellison's Journey Into Mystery , during the "Fear Itself" storyline, where Odin's older brother, the Serpent, was ravaging Earth and Odin was debating whether it made sense to just wipe Earth out and start all over again if that's what it took to stop the Serpent. The other gods disagreed with this plan and Zeus was quite happy to let Odin know what he felt about the plan by taking him on. However, while they might SAY that the gods in the Council of Gods are all pretty much equal, that certainly isn't what they've done over the years.

In Marvel Comics, there are numerous factions of gods, with the most important of them all being the Asgardians and the Olympians. On the small screen, Moon Knight showed ancient Egyptian gods. Zeus in Thor: Love and Thunder brings a whole new corner of the Marvel Comics universe to the screen, and opens the door for characters like the god Hercules to make their MCU debuts in the future.

Hey look, Wiz. I'm not a big fan of the Avengers, but that fight rocked! Like you said younger Odin is a bit blurry but I think that he recieved a lot of outside help to as well. However, we have several different ways to compare power levels, and these methods tell a fascinating story. Athena champion Diania won against Zeus champion in a fight. While Olympus isn't mentioned specifically, since it qualifies as a realm, it's safe to assume it was included in Odin and Hela's initial conquest. However, the ruler of Olympus has a second set of bars that show his power when he is augmented in some manner. According to mythology, Zeus is wayyyyyy more powerful than Odin. However, while they might SAY that the gods in the Council of Gods are all pretty much equal, that certainly isn't what they've done over the years. Compared to any fight between Thor and Odin and there is no comparison. Im going to check it out. They are both extremely powerful and yes its possible I think that they could end up fighting for millions of years if you look at their powerset, it mlght just take Zeus millions or billions of years before he can beat Odin. And as for Hercules Marvel Universe , he was a demi-god, but then after he died, Zeus resurrected him as a full Olympian God.

Originally posted by guy Odin and Zeus stalemate odin for the win. Wiz: Zeus is also very smart, being able to see the weakness of Adams eyes of Lord and over heat them by forcing Adam to continuely do God Level attacks and overload his nerves system. Zeus is physically stronger than Odin, but they've always considered each other as equals. Exactly to the nordics it didnt existed anything more honorable than dying in combat. However, Odin is not immortal. We saw Zeus humbling the Hulk with physical strength - Odin's feat is not better at all. Exactly what Zeus' role in Phase 4's story will be isn't clear, but if his character is even remotely in line with his comic book counterpart, he'll prove that his powers rival those of Odin's. Hell, I think the Egyptian Gods should get a make-over and start appearing more like their classic depictions: Ra with a hawk-head, Anubis with a jackal-head. Zeus is. Wiz: Eons before humanity, existed the Gods. Truth be told after so many decades of "Cosmic" beings i wouldnt mind seeing Peak level Ancient Gods get their due and have a wickedly awesome battle olympian I so want that. One way is to use the various Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe books that Marvel has released over the years. Zeus's superior strength doesn't really mean a whole lot when there's magic amplification involved, and I doubt the battle would be one of strength anyways. In the all-out battle, I would favor Odin as well.
It is a pity, that now I can not express - there is no free time. But I will be released - I will necessarily write that I think on this question.
