The latest patch in Battlefield 1 has left mixed criticisms from players especially with the nerfs on weapons particularly on the Martini-Henry. But instead of voicing out their disappointment, fans have made some creative ways to show their sentiments regarding the nerf - and it's hilariously good! The nerf to the Martini-Henry came as a surprise since no one bothers to complain on the damage output of the weapon. Despite being a popular Scout weapon , the Martini-Henry wasn't considered to be deadly or overpowered weapon from Scouts. But despite its semi-mediocre damage output, DICE pointed out that they are still "nerfing" the weapon for the fact that it isn't working as intended. According to the patch notes , Martini-Henry deals "too much" damage on most body parts meaning that its damage multiplier is broken at some point. Because of this they're actually "fixing" the weapon and thus the resulting nerf. Now, several hours after the patch went live, players have made some creative ways to chill and have fun with the new Martini-Henry. Players have also taken their sentiments on the weapon on Reddit. Most players deem the Martini-Henry a lot "useless" now due to the overall reduced damage output especially when the aim was pointed on the lower torso of the target. Although the community is starting to shrugged off the weapon's fix, others can't still get over the change and specifically pointed out how the weapon is no longer viable in competitive matches.
