Her academic degrees of are in the field of Toxicology PhD in , Associate Professor degree in , Professor degree in and became European Registered Toxicologist in Previously she served as head of department of Toxicology and as the vice dean of the Gazi University, Faculty of Pharmacy, head of the Toxicology department of Marmara University, Faculty of Pharmacy. For many years she has been serving as a scientific consultant in numerous commissions of Ministry of Health, Republic of Turkey, which include the ethical committee, pharmacology and technology commission, clinical evaluation and drug license commission, risk management division, cosmetic safety division and as the chair of the Pharmacovigilance scientific committee of the Ministry of Health, besides her scientific committee membership at the Ministry of Agriculture. At present she is the president of the European Registered Toxicology program of Turkey and vice president of the Pharmacovigilance Society of Turkey. Besides her scientific activities, she has organized many local and international toxicology congress in Turkey, executive committee membership, and has editorial duties.
