Princess Daisy is a major character in the Super Mario Bros. She is named and inspired after the Super Mario video game series character Princess Daisy , and serves as Luigi's romantic interest. She is not initially aware she is a descendant of royalty, being referred to as simply Daisy for a majority of the movie.
