Oh, I love this! I would just drill starter holes either way, because it did seem like the panels would split easily, because they were so thin. This was the perfect project to use leftover stain on. There is nothing showing through, since it is a groove type connection. I love what you do with the wood this is what am looking for to finish my bedroom thinks.
