Love take that
It was ultimately used as part of the soundtrack to the film Saturday Night Love take that. It was a number-three hit in the United Kingdom and Australia.
Take That were never weirder than on Progressed, the EP of offcuts appended to their album Progress. The Stuart Price-produced Love Love is appealingly off the wall — squelching synthesisers, a bizarrely stentorian Gary Barlow vocal, an octave leaping chorus. Pretty Things is a low-key highlight: subtle electropop, over which Williams self-deprecatingly ruminates on ageing, marriage and the loss of youthful charm. That said, they are sometimes better than you might expect, as demonstrated by Giants, a slice of super-hooky, thoroughly modern arena-ready pop. Which brings us to the prosaically titled When We Were Young, an affecting giant-chorused song with a distinctly Abba-esque melody.

The song features Gary Barlow and Mark Owen on lead vocals. It was released in the United Kingdom as a digital download on 11 May The song was featured in the end credits of the film X-Men: First Class. This was the second time the group has worked with director Matthew Vaughn , having previously written and recorded " Rule the World " for Vaughn's film Stardust. Robert Copsey of Digital Spy gave the single 4 out of 5 stars, praising it and stating, "'You bring me right back down to the Earth from the promised land' are the lyrics in the opening bars over mud-squelching synths, while the fat 'n' chunky chorus where they command their lovers to "give me what I need" is immediately satisfying. Like their recent offerings, it's a style that has transformed them from cheesy boyband to tough manband". The Music video of the single was officially announced through the Take That official website on 27 May and debuted the same day at 4pm UTC.

It's catchy, loving the chorus. Why don't you teach your heart to feel And give your love love, give your love love Give it all away Why don't you teach your heart to talk And give your love love, give your love love Gimme, gimme what I need. I think the lyrics to this song are very impressive, given what Take That had to do. They had to write a song for the film 'X Men First Class' which could also work as a standard pop tune to put on their EP 'Progressed', and which could stand alone from the film! Note the phrase 'First Class' in the second verse - proof the song was written as a commission for the film.
