Really cool armor set, quite heavy but it has the DR and poise to match. I don't mind that it has to be farmed in this instance because the drop rates are decent and there is a good spot to farm the enemies that drop it. Unfortunately can confirm the blue knights also drop the red armor, the blue armor seems to be unobtainable. This set has overall decent poise, but unfortunately not infinite poise like the enemies that wear it. For the people looking how to get this armor easy if you go to the vordt bonfire after defeating the boss, if you let the lothric knights hit you once and kill them fast then it should be easy. The Physical Defense Values for each piece and the whole set don't match. The set's physical defense values are incorrect. This set looks awesome, it's a bit chonky, taking a lot of equipment load up so I have to ask, how much vitality do I need to wear the whole set without it making me move like a drunken turtle. Got unlucky lothric knight chestplate bety early in game. Still using it during Irithyll. I feel like they made this set first and then decided to make an entire game on it.

I spent longer trying to farm this armor piece than I did trying to kill the Nameless King lmao. Pretty good poise for it's weight.

Its physical defenses are good for its weight, though like other plate metal sets it has a distinct weakness to Strike damage; conversely however, it has very high Slash resistance for its weight, exceeding that of many heavier armor sets. Its elemental resistances are moderately good, though it is severely weak against Lightning damage and does not resist the Dark very well either. It tolerates status effects quite well, and is particularly resistant to Bleed buildup.

After extensive restarts as a deprived character I can say with confidence that drop rates are not consistent with any item. I found the armor chest on the Tower, but I can't equip it. Seems RNG was on my side, i got all but the chest in 30 mins and the chest in an hour. Combine with Nameless Knight leggins and Alva helm for decent looks. It's the Fluted Armor set all over again, incredible. I've been running with the legs on from that set, been enjoying them. The chest is ugly af on my character. Kill the Knight welding the sword near the lothric castle bonfire, this set will drop in no time.

This set is not hard to farm if you just run through that area. Meanwhile in another play-through it was the Lothric Shield. It's too heavy and doesn't make much a difference. I have the full set, but I prefer fallen knight set, because fashion souls. The red dye, according to the Drakeblood set, represents the pursuit of the blood of dragons. So I spent a solid eight hours farming it and levelling up in the meantime.
