Tried selecting the area in a loop, then changing the time signature, but it changed the time signature everywhere. Figured out a way - Select the amount of time you want to add in a bar, click "Insert Silence" in the toolbar , and then it'll ask if you'd like to change the time signature of that bar. This might not work for everyone's time signature needs.
