I read where a gunsmith swapped parts and they fit except for some hand fitting on a few parts, which is normal for some parts. I've always wanted a pattern pistol in 38 super but dont know much about the Llama except for internet rumors. But this one being an earlier model may not be prone to the rumors of quality issues. I've never had that happen. It's a good pistol to shoot - mostly. It's good looking and lighter than a loaded. Also a lot easier to tear down and re-assemble than a Kimber. However: 1.

No need to be hatin'. It would consistantly fail to extract on every round except with only two brands of ammo.
