Lisa Marie Brown, 38, from Cardiff , is behind the UK's first pink Ferrari which was launched at an event to encourage more women to start up their own business. You may even see her driving the high-speed Italian car through the streets of Cardiff. She said: "People thought it was quite extravagant but a lot of people liked the colour of the car and think it's brilliant.

The fuchsia-haired, year-old entrepreneur, based in the coastal community of Rhoose, in the Vale of Glamorgan, has a passion for challenging stereotypes. Through her company, Pinkspiration. And, in her spare time, she indulges her passion for racing hot-pink supercars at a competitive level. Instead, as well as honing her racing skills, she has spent much of the past 12 months working on her 3,sq ft, four-bedroom house, part of a small enclave of LA-style modernist homes, near the seafront town of Barry, 13 miles from Cardiff. She shares the home with her partner, who she says prefers to stay out of the limelight. My experience on building sites and working from a young age has stood me in good stead. The home is full of pink pops and flashes, in furniture, artwork and on the rear garden walls. For Lisa Marie, there is nothing girlish or overtly feminine about pink. Instead it represents the power of transformation and affirmation. If I can do it, so can you. She has renovated five other homes and did a lot of the handiwork in and outside Dreamwood herself, including carpentry, furniture installation, painting and decorating. But she got professionals in to resurface the driveway.

Lisa launched her business, Pinkspiration, in , which provides training and mentoring for women to get into trade industries. During the lockdowns, she began blogging and reviewing supercars as well as setting up her own supercar events.
