Being an energetic and reckless kid, Link got himself hurt, and Mipha offered to heal him. She found him endearing, and Link would visit Zora's Domain several times over the following years. Once they both became older, Link became Hyrule's champion and Mipha noticed his drastic change in personality; he was more grown up, more focused, and rarely spoke anymore. Mipha tried to ask him if something was wrong, to which he dismissed her. At some point, the two got into a fight with a Lynel, and Link tried to get Mipha to back off, but she refused. The Lynel almost landed a strike on Mipha, but Link was able to save her.
