I bought the Small size for my 32"-ish waist, and while they did fit, I would buy the XS next time since I prefer a slightly tighter fitting boxer short. The waist has plenty of elastic so I think it would fit my waist fine. The craftsmanship is great, fabric is very nice and comes with a nice little linen bag and fabric sample swatches. The fabric is a little on the thicker side, not uncomfortable at all but not as lightweight as a typical cotton boxer. I would definitely buy again, just one size down.
