Rieta Tristi has known nothing but hardship: her husband died of the plague, her young daughter was stolen away by slave traders, and now the cruel Lord Casarius, who had long coveted Rieta as a mistress, has ordered on his deathbed that she be buried alive with him. Her heart already shattered by grief, Rieta has little will to resist her grim fate—until the womanizing tyrant of the north, Archduke Killian Axias, suddenly appears and whisks her away. As the leaves change and temperatures drop, Rieta warms up to her unexpected savior, who has been grieving a loss of his own. His dying wish was to have the beautiful young widow Rieta, whom he had planned on taking as a mistress, be buried alive with him. Just as she was about to be buried alive, the infamously violent Archduke of Axias appears at Cevitas Manor. Rieta Tristi was a beautiful woman. Her blonde hair, tied back or left loose, shone brightly. But the most special of all were her eyes.

I easily get bored. I like new things. I prefer using my body to using my head. I like meeting with people. And my hobby is dancing. I'm keeping my innate desire for fun and excitement under control as I can work on this title.

Was this comment useful? When she smiled gaily with those beautiful eyes, even the flowers and stars faded in comparison to her beauty. I don't know what it is about these to but I love them. It's been a long time since I had so much fun reading a story, since there are usually so many grammatical errors and it's not edited by a native speaker. The story begins with MC's life looking like the aftermath of the Shibuya Incident. You gave only excuses, all different every time. The plot? Displaying 1 - 30 of 40 reviews. Feeling like she has nothing to live for, but not quite ready to give up completly- Rieta takes a chance and follows her savior to his territory and attempts to continue on. English: Like Wind on a Dry Branch. Refer to milkgreentea's comment cause I think they said what I also wanted to say. She keeps going and despite all of the evil she has faced, her soul remains uncorrupted and untainted and so pure. Rieta stumbled and collapsed, due to the long, unforeseen delay in the procession.

The blunt words, from a man who had no connection or whatsoever to high society and had never concerned himself about others, made the family freeze.
