Street Lights : The street lights are enabled by default, adding the lighting system allows you to set a failure percentage. The lower this is set the more the street lights will flicker off and fail. House Lights : Currently buildings that can not be entered will be lit, this is also based upon the lighting percentage, the higher this is the more houses will be lit.

The Construction Light is a type of equipment in DayZ. To make use of the Construction Light you need a power source like the power generator. The Construction Light can be connected directly to a power generator, up to 5 meters away. To connect a Construction Light to a power generator , simply hold it in your hands and look at a power generator. An option to connect should show up. You can see if it is within range of the power generator by looking at the wire along the handle when you are in placement mode. If the wire goes into the ground, it is close enough. If it still looks rolled up, then it is too far. In the gallery below and in the video demonstration you will see examples of this.
