By 50Metals June 8, in Mistborn. This is just for fun, but I did put some thought into it. Like many people, I've come up with a list of the possible effects of each of the 16 alloys of Lerasium. I assumed that Lerasium counted as an internal metal. Thus, I believe Lerasium alloys can be internal, even though the unalloyed metal is external. I'd be interested in hearing what you think of this. May need to grant some immunity to cold as well, if it effects one's own body heat. Or perhaps that is the danger of using the metal. Or maybe that is just my love of comic books corrupting my theories. Perhaps this grants immunity to heat while it is being burned, as I imagine the allomancer would overheat quickly. OR grants increased understanding of allomancy in some way.

So here's my last question. Do they also have allomancy feruchemy and hemalurgy? No, they're not dead. Yes, Rashek was aware of them. In fact, he placed them there as a reserve. I knew he wanted a 'control' group of people in case his changes to genetics ended with the race being in serious trouble. All I'll say is that he found a way other than changing them genetically to help them survive in the world he created.

Lerasium is a metallic form of the god-like entity Preservation , and is considered one of the two God metals , the other being Atium. All known samples of Lerasium were created by Rashek when he took the energies in the Well of Ascension another manifestation of Preservation and condensed some of its energies into a solid form.
