Leicester parking permits

This portal is designed to give you access to various types of ways to park your vehicles, be this at home, work or away visiting others. Please select an option to continue. You can purchase a variety of digital permits to use at participating locations. These allow you to park without paying each time you visit a location. Residents living in a residents parking scheme can apply for permits. Four residents parking permits are permitted per property. Click here to purchase a student permit which will enable you to park in a residents parking zone. Four student permits are permitted per student property. Residents and Students living in a residents parking scheme can apply for an Annual Visitor permit. Only one Annual Visitor permit is permitted per property. An Annual Visitor permit is free for those over state pension age and those who require regular carer attendance. New residents to a property situated in a permit zone with limited residency proofs available can apply for a New Resident Scratchcards bundle.

Permits for visitors can only be used by genuine visitors or contractors working on your property.

If you live in one of the above residents zones you may be eligible for a permit for your vehicle or for your visitor to use. Please note each residents parking zone in Leicester may have different parking capacities, therefore in zones that have limited parking some properties may not be entitled to permits, even if they are included in the list of eligible addresses. These properties include houses converted into multiple flats, HIMO properties that have also been converted, student accommodation and hostels. Parking Services will look and consider each application on an individual basis. Please note any change of property or new development in the residents parking area of Leicester City may not be eligible for permits. Parking spaces are not allocated to individual permit holders.
