Legacy of the Nine Realms is a paranormal fantasy series by Amelia Hutchins. The first novel in the series is Flames of Chaos. Aria is the heroine of the series from the Hecate family of witches who is determined to correct the mistakes committed by her ancestors even if it means going to war. Aria is not any ordinary witch; she comes from a ruling family of witches and is a descendant of Hecate. Her family gave their kingdoms to others and relocated to another world. They discover that things have changed in the human realm, and not everything is what it seems. While Aria tries looking for her missing twin, Amara, at Haven falls, she meets Knox, a dangerous, mysterious man declaring himself a king. When Knox calls her, Arian knows that he has an agenda.

And what about Aria's father? Why was the fae chronicles walk through necessary? We find out alllll about the Prometheus line, how the Realms were made, the prophecy, and how Aria came to be. The sheer amount of spelling, grammar and sentence structure mistakes in this was astounding. Spelling mistakes, grammatical errors and sentence structure that just didn't make sense. Every book contains a warning that notes the author has a human editor, so mistakes happen. Aria and Knox burn so hot together that they may well leave the Nine Realms in nothing more than ashes. If this was book 4. He's her protector or whatever, and was likely linked to Aria by whatever Grandma Phoenix did. Did Aria not lock Hecate into her body at the end of book 4? Sign in! He is horrifying at his attempts to kill Aria and destroy everyone but of course this is the book where Aria finally admits she loves him and will DIE for her.

Ms reads a lot. And this, this was the moment I knew nothing was going to be okay for a while. It is my fault. He was some scheming mastermind that everyone was afraid of, but when we finally meet him he's like a wall flower who gets little air time. So much repetition. The man was wallpaper in this book; he served no purpose. And nothing will stop him from reaching for what is his. Move pieces into place and set the stage for the war he's been planning for over five hundred years. Time should have been taken to write this book; if it took another year, then so be it. We find out alllll about the Prometheus line, how the Realms were made, the prophecy, and how Aria came to be.
