Having traveled for almost 6 hours, we arrived to collect our keys just before 1am and proceeded to the lock box as always. However, our keys were not there!! Fortunately, someone answered the helpline number and we had our keys within 20 mins.

It is also a great base to explore the wider Lake District. The property has 4 well-sized bedrooms as well as large living areas. We had plenty of room for friends and family. I have to admit the views are stunning.

The credit at the local deli was a nice surprise and better than any made up hamper, thank you!! From a maintenance point of view, the outer front red door is sticking and difficult to open and close.
