The menu is aimed squarely at British Asians who appreciate real Pakistani food and who know their Lahori style from their Karachi. The lamb chops are simply magnificent; smoky from the grill but juicy and utterly irresistible. Succulent lamb pieces sit in a rich sauce which is flavoured very noticeably with cinnamon as well as other whole spices such as cardamom and cloves. With it comes a plate of optional toppings including crispy fried onion, coriander and thinly sliced ginger. Slabs of delicious freshwater fish sit in the kitchen in a marinade waiting for their moment. There is also quail batera for the grill and an array of karahi or dry-fried dishes.
