Now even after 3 blends with 3 different cigar bands, it has been nothing but pleasurable smoke.
The wrapper is light brown and has quite a bit of toothiness to it and the foot is covered with folded over wrapper leaf. There are a few slightly raised veins present while the seams are easily visible due to the texture of the wrapper. The head is covered with a single cap that is finished with a tightly wound pigtail. The band is the traditional design for the company in black and gold with a red shield. The aroma from the wrapper and covered foot is a distinct hay along with a mild white pepper.

March 27, William Cooper Reviews 1 Comment 3. Riatevski decided to create his own cigar after being disappointed with many cigars on the market. His goal was to create a cigar that maintained Cuban tradition, but add his own twist on things. In order to accomplish this, he realized he was going to have to find someone who would allow him a part of the actual blending process. He would eventually hook up with Noel Rojas, known not only for his work at Guayacan Cigars, but as the owner of boutique factory who has produced cigars for companies such as Nomad, Ezra Zion, and United Cigar. Today we explore this cigar in some more detail. Currently there is one cigar in the portfolio, the Red Knight. It is currently offered in a single size, a Toro. While the company is not disclosing details of the filler, the blend contains an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper a binder that is half Mexican San Andres and half Nicaraguan Jalapa Seco. Upon closer examination there is a slight darker marbling effect that can be seen on the surface.

If you have seen this Macedonian giant of man on social media you get it. Smoking mainly Cuban cigars, I wanted to create a profile which maintained Cuban standards, while adding an interesting yet elegant twist. Jas Sum Kral recently sent me some samples to review of their Red Knight cigar, and after letting them rest awhile, it was time to break them out and see what all the social media fuss was about. Well done Riste! Regal in design and fitting for such an eye catching cigar it deserved some words itself. The first observation of the band is the golden Jas Sum Kral logo centered in a blood-red shield. Golden lions protect that shield on both sides and a golden crown adorns it. The remainder of the band is black with golden scrolls and ornaments along with some white and red placement.

Sturdy, sharp and reliable. Innovative, but calculated. Like the burn it low maintenance. Second Third As the second third begins, the wood is leading the profile with the toasted wood and cream slightly behind and a very faint baking spice still remaining. The cigar maintained a straight burn path from start to finish. Ash has is bit flaky but solid. Nuzli Hakiim nuzlihakiim. At a quarter inch in, a mild cream joins the profile which smooths the baking spice out a bit. Medium char line. This was a draw that was not too tight nor too loose.
So my next visit as a salesman Hans gave me the cigar and it blew me away, what an amazing cigar. The construction feels great and the cigar has a close foot and a very pretty pigtail, this shows some skills from the rollers at the NOA factory.

The cigar started out as a medium strength, medium-bodied cigar. On the retrohale, the char is still a bit full with the wood. There is TONS of flavor and many transitions to keep your attention. The ash had a salt and pepper color skewed toward the darker side. As for the combustion, both the burn rate and burn temperature were ideal. Spicy floral aroma. Innovative, but calculated.
