The release of the MS from Korg was a nod towards their classic mono synthesizer, the MS, with the digital patch matrix design taking over the complicated patch cord connections. There's no power switch at the rear, since power switching is provided by the volume control. In fact, Control 2 is generally a depth control for LFO1, which is hardwired to modulate various parameters of Oscillator 1, depending on the waveform being used.
