He strives to one day become Hokage after his idol, Naruto Uzumaki. Tooniyl was born into the Sarutobi clan and was named after Konoha by his grandfather, konohamaru sarutobi. Wanting to be acknowledged as a person and not simply the Hokage's grandson, Konohamaru began trying to defeat Hiruzen konohamaru sarutobi order to replace him as Hokage.

Since the Naruto franchise spun out into its sequel series , some of the characters from the earlier generation have been getting new life in the filler episodes of the anime. One of those characters to see their story expanded is Konohamaru Sarutobi. When first introduced in the second chapter of the Naruto manga or the second episode of the anime , Konohamaru was a young shinobi in training who found a fellow student to admire in Naruto Uzumaki. Over a decade later, Konohamaru became one of the elite shinobi in his home village of Konohagakure with a dream to be Hokage and a job training Boruto Uzumaki. Konohamaru comes from a very well known family in the village of Konohagakure. The Sarutobi clan has long been full of shinobi who keep the peace.

He is a jounin level shinobi and the leader of Team Konohamaru. He taught Boruto Uzumaki the rasengan which he learned from his mentor Naruto Uzumaki. Konohamaru was born into the Sarutobi clan and was named after Konoha by his grandfather. Wanting to be acknowledged as a person and not simply the Hokage's grandson, Konohamaru began trying to defeat Hiruzen in order to replace him as Hokage. Although he's introduced midway through a failed attempt to defeat his grandfather, Konohamaru initially finds a certain enjoyment in his status as the Hokage's grandson: he is often spared from being punished for his actions and will goad people who are unwilling to take a hand against him. Like Naruto, Konohamaru tends to be loud, headstrong, spends an inordinate amount of time inventing perverted ninjutsu, and, in the anime, even mimics Naruto's kabuki ninja registration photograph when taking his own. Konohamaru also picks up a number of good qualities from Naruto, such as the realisation that becoming Hokage is a long process that there are no shortcuts for. This commits Konohamaru to his studies in the Academy and makes the job of his tutor, Ebisu, considerably easier. In the anime, Konohamaru eventually moves past his competition with Naruto for the Hokage mantle, deciding instead that he will become Hokage only after Naruto has had his turn. Years later, Konohamaru becomes emotional at the prospect that he can mentor Naruto's son, Boruto, in the same way that Naruto mentored him.

He was forced to leave the village and a complaint was filed against him, prompting the Hokage to place him under house arrest, konohamaru sarutobi. Boruto however insisted that they had to stop before he continued to abuse the konohamaru sarutobi that Katasuke gave him.

A child whose parents have yet to be seen, but Konohamaru is a child of great status in the Hidden Leaf Village. Konohamaru is the grandson of Hiruzen Sarutobi, the man who is more commonly known as the third Hokage. It is also known that he was named after the village in which he was born to. Any other child would have been happy with being named after one the great villages, and being the grandson to a great Hokage, but life for this young child was not as easy as many would believe. Growing up Konohamaru was never seen as his own shinobi, and never truly acknowledged as an individual. They never even called him by his given name, even though he was named after the village. In many ways Konohamaru is like Naruto , but because of his status not much is ever done. Because he wanted to be his own man, and come away from being the honorable grandson, Konohamaru wished to be Hokage, and would often attack his grandfather, but with little success. Always being watched and stopped by his tutor Ebisu, and helped by his friends and teammates Udon and Moegi. Konohamaru makes his first official appearance, during a meeting that Naruto is having with the Hokage, about the picture he took.

Boruto however, revealed to be a shadow clone, began the next part of the team's plan, grabbing onto Ao, letting Mitsuki restrict Ao's hand on the activated prototype weapon, which quickly drained Ao of his stamina.
