However, after four years of not being on a worldwide tour, Hart returned to the stage for the Reality Check Tour. And after a three-year hiatus, Hart is set to return to the stage for his eighth stand-up comedy special but his first for Peacock , Kevin Hart: Reality Check. The special kicks off with an elaborate opening with Kevin being driven to the arena, and he hits the stage with a baseball bat in his hand. He mentions that he is about to tell jokes and for the audience to unclench their butt cheeks and enjoy the ride. Hart opens the show by talking about plastic surgery and how it has changed over the years, from making fun of Lebron for growing hair overnight to someone taking fat out of their back and adding it to his legs to make him taller. A strong opening monologue from Hart sets the tone early. Hart never really crossed many lines over the years, so this felt like a refreshed Kevin Hart with a chip on his shoulder.
