Jujutsu Kaisen is currently, quite clearly, in the climax of the Culling Game arc. This arc has been extremely intense for the fans to witness, with countless powerful characters fighting to the best of their ability and, and at the same time, some fan favorites losing their lives. The last few months of Jujutsu Kaisen saw the story focus on an incredibly long-awaited fight between Gojo and Sukuna. These two characters are known to be the strongest in the entire series and it was only a matter of time before they started fighting. Unfortunately, Gojo was the one who ended up losing that fight as he was cleaved apart by Sukuna. Immediately after, Kashimo stepped in and revealed his Cursed Technique in the previous chapter. However, at the end of it, it was Sukuna who returned to his true form and was back to his full strength. With that, the battle between these two characters was bound to conclude in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter , and that is precisely what ended up happening. The build-up of the fight between Sukuna and Kashimo began long ago. Kashimo always wanted to fight against Sukuna and that was clear from the very beginning of his character introduction in the story. Even when he fought against Hakari, it was quite clear that he wanted to test his skill against the strongest and even Hakari could understand him, to an extent. Sadly, he had to wait for his chance as Gojo was the one who had to fight Sukuna first.

Maki versus Sukuna is a battle that began last week, and this week, this fight was taken to the next level. As has been the tradition for every single character that Sukuna has fought over the course of the last few months, Maki also lasted around two chapters in battle, which means that this week's chapter marked the conclusion of her fight against Sukuna, at least for now. At the same time, JJK chapter also did incredibly well to set up the next fight that Sukuna will have in front of him, and it is a rather surprising one, regardless of which way fans look at it.
