Yes I'm still not dead! Sorry for the lack of activity these recent days but I had school and was sick for a moment so I had less time to junko enoshima fan art knowing that it generally takes me 2 full weeks to finish a full body artwork So I had to dumb down my Ideas for the background a bit. The first design is described in the book as being a black woman, but otherwise being almost identical to Junko in terms her outfit, personality, and high-school age. The second design is described as a very young girl who was eventually to take over the Warriors of Hope. She is described as somewhat crazy, and always searching for despair. The game was scrapped because the themes, scenario and design were seen as being too dark to be marketable. Some of the design materials were revealed during a presentation the CEDEC conference, and several early iterations of Junko's design can easily be seen in some of the materials. Additional materials were also made available as a bonus to those who downloaded the Alter Ego App.

She was an extremely prominent character within the series and popular with fans. Enoshima debuted in the first game of the series, Dangan Ronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc , though did not survive the killing game. Enoshima is the "mastermind" of Dangan Ronpa's first killing game and she is the originator of the killing game formula overall. Enoshima's birthday is December 24th. She shares this birthday with Mukuro Ikusaba.

In Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc , Junko arranges a killing game between her former classmates to test their metrics for hope and despair , counting herself and Mukuro as participants, before having her consciousness converted into an artificial intelligence known as Alter Ego Junko upon her death, left to Izuru Kamukura to continue her plans along with his own. The character has also appeared in manga and musical adaptations of the series. Junko was conceived by series' creator and scenario writer Kazutaka Kodaka originally as a "fully unsympathetic" villain, due to his at the time personal dislike for the popular trope of being a sympathetic villain.
