After a year mostly outside of the sports world, Julie Stewart-Binks is again covering sports. It was the hardest year of my life and I just had to figure out a way to get rid of the noise and just follow what felt good. Stewart-Binks said while she was out of work in sports, she decided to start pursuing comedy, first as a way to improve her broadcasting craft. Which is so much of what we do in broadcasting, what we should be doing in broadcasting. And it gave me and still gives me crippling anxiety. And I absolutely cannot tell you how much I just love stand-up comedy in that you get such a high from it.
