On Aug. Fan Fiction is transgressive. It co-opts the creator's vision. It steps on it. It is fiction built on fiction. There can be no canon in it. I say do it, have at it. I have tried it and my Destiel is better writing than my Wincest. My Johnlock is better than both. Fans across tons of different TV shows, movies, and games — particularly those with big slash male-male pairings ships — have added lines from his poetry as captions on their fanart for years, superimposed it on yearning gif edits, or even titled their own fanfiction with it.

John is a broken almost-was at the end of his career, the other an arrogant rising star tipped for greatness. Two men meet at the Winter Olympics, John an American hockey player bouncing back after an injury, and Sherlock, a British figure skater competing in his last Olympics. Somehow they just work together. I am so excited about this one you guys! Pretty obvious, really. This one just came to me, lol. In which John wants to get back in shape, does so, joins a rugby league and has sex with Sherlock Holmes. John competes in the biathalon skiing and rifle shooting and Sherlock does skeleton head first luge sledding. This was actually not all that difficult - normally, I really struggle with poses. Sherlock and Were! It went on like this for two months. John picked Rosie up and carried her on his shoulders, she chuckled a little, so was John. He did wake, but it was gentle, easy.
