In I moved from London with my family to an Old Rectory in the rural idyll of Herefordshire and helped my wife start an eco glamping business here, with vintage caravans and a mess tent in a copse and wildflower meadow overlooking the Wye Valley,. It was with this glamping business that I first applied my pop cultural sensitivities and understanding of marketing with a new skill: providing brands with bespoke content for their development. I had always written as a hobby and that passion for language and ability to express emotion I now use to provide engaging tone and humanity to brands. As well as popular and sub cultures, my primary interests are family, friends, humour, art, music, film, theatre, design, graphics, brutalist architecture, current affairs, books, vinyl, pugs, French bulldogs and major sports. On leaving school I immersed myself completely in music culture. Playing in bands, working in record stores, I was at gigs every night of the week. I started a career as a record label executive at Stiff Records. Junior record label executive backstage at Reading Festival. I was there with headliner Iggy Pop, the greatest living human. The summer of was drawing to a close, and I had a large and growing problem: Kosher, my pet pig. I was 16, and the pig had been a poorly-thought-through joke gift from my father. But by the end of the summer, which we spent at the beach, Kosher was pushing pounds, eating voraciously and eliminating incessantly. She had taken to muscling out of her pen and afflicting the neighbors, toppling garbage cans and, once, a flaming Weber grill, making off with the steak that was sizzling atop it. A return to apartment living was out of the question.
