We are funded by tax-deductible donations , adoption and surrender fees and supported by dog lovers throughout the world. Russell Rescue of the Carolinas, Inc is a registered c 3 non-profit breed specific foster-based rescue. Our volunteers have been involved with several Jack Russell rescues for many years, merging in to create a regionally based rescue focused in North Carolina , South Carolina , Virginia , and parts of Maryland. Being a foster-based rescue allows us to properly vet a pup, take time to understand their personalities, and properly find the best home for that terrier.
