Description: Looking for quality outdoor furniture and not finding what I am looking for, I came up with this in the mean time. I only bought the 2 beds and the slatted base.

My latest bargain is this outdoor sofa that I found on Finn. I got a 4-seat sofa with footstool inkl. But as you can see on the before photos, the furniture needed a little makeover. So I put all the cushions covers in the washing machine on 60 degrees and with some stain remover and painted all the furniture using leftover paint from the house Jotun Optimal Dempet Sort after a good wash. Frida over at Trendenser painted these same Ikea modules a few years back, so I knew they would look good in black. The cushions became all white again they actually look awful and had lots of yellow stains, so I thought for a while that I had to buy new ones..

Let me start with what I love about it. We have several pieces which makes this a very versatile piece of furniture. Every summer we rework it which makes it feel like new every year. It looked rough, like really terrible. Pic from last year you can see some of the weathering on the sides and back. So I decided to paint them! We had the colors mixed into the Sherwin Williams Exterior All Weather paint for best durability in the elements. Move everything into the yard and sand, sand, sand. Hubs and I both took a hand sander and started sanding every inch of all 10 pieces of furniture, 8 pieces for the sectional and the 2 loungers. We busted out our K9III dog dryer and blew off all of the dust left from the sanding to get all the pieces as clean as possible you can use a leaf blower to do this or wipe it all down by hand.

The inventory for both categories of items changes on a regular And the final color of the loungers, dry and all set up ready for some sun-tanning action.
