The Mate 20 Pro is currently one of the best devices we have tested using our new Night protocol, but compared to images taken in bright light, image quality is still pretty low. Generally speaking, when shooting in dim conditions, the Mate 20 Pro is best used with the flash forced off. The Mate 20 Pro also comes with a dedicated Night mode, but the results are disappointing and the mode is best avoided. In terms of wide-angle image quality, it delivers a middle-of-the-road performance.
