Now when the Nitrux came out I was more then a little confused as to what Hoyt was going for in this bow and I know several others were as well. I know there is a bow for everyone out there so in trying to give the Nitrux a fair shake I would like to hear from someone that has laid down their cash for one. The 2 shops in my area are both Hoyt dealers and they have sold a total of 1 since the release. Had the sight bolts running through the quiver mounts and into the bow and they locked up. Made me double take and I noticed it was a new nitrux lol. Maybe leftover parts and tried to turn a profit.

Hoyt is a well-established leader in the archery industry, and the company's all-new Nitrum Series is designed to push the limits of aluminum riser design while bringing many proven technologies together with a couple new arrivals. Four Nitrum models are available: the Nitrum 30, with a short axle-to-axle measurement; the Nitrum 34 for those who like a middle-of-the-road bow length; the Nitrum Turbo for the speedsters; and the Nitrum LD to accommodate archers with long wingspans. So, what's new for Hoyt in ? Looking to take advantage of the inherent benefits offered by a stiff riser — namely accuracy, tunability and stability — Hoyt engineers worked with the transition area above the sight window to broaden the side-to-side profile. Normally, the front and back surfaces of the riser follow one another; however, those planes are offset on the Nitrum Series, overlapping the curve on one side with a straight plane on the other.

Those factors are also why we, as consumers, expect big things from the company each year. Let's take a look at Hoyt's mid-year release, the Nitrux, and see how the team did. In addition, the Nitrux is home to several vibration-killing accessories and is available in five popular camo patterns and six target versions that combine a black riser with limbs painted in different colors. There have been different versions of Hoyt's TEC Total Engineering Concept riser design over the years, but every one of them brings instant brand recognition with its unique truss structure. The truss loops behind the shooter's hand and acts as a shock absorber as it channels shot vibration away from the grip. Compared to the structural design of a bridge in which the load and stress is distributed through its trusses the truss in the Nitrux alloy riser creates stability, strength and reduces flex increased stiffness of the riser.
