We chose this hotel because of the easy access to the Bronx area. The pool seemed well maintained and the breakfast area was clean and well stocked with the usual mundane "free breakfast" options. The room was clean but the carpeting in the room and hallway seemed run down and well worn. The bathroom was clean. One big problem We used the room fan to drown out the sound but the fan itself was overly noisy. We asked for any extra pillow which we never got. However given the hotel rate was lower than other hotels in the area, I feel that I basically got what I paid for. The hotel room was sufficiently roomy and very well maintained. The place was very clean and the bed quite comfortable. It was quiet and even though our room was on the second floor. The breakfast was excellent especially when compared to other hotels that include breakfast. The options were varied and the food was refilled when empty.
