I've discovered that you make hot chocolate in the Velvetiser using any type of hot chocolate powder that you would normally just put in a mug and add boiling water or hot milk. Galaxy is particularly good. Hotel Chocolates' own sachets are quite expensive! The sachets are expensive so we just use hot choc powder. And, if you google, loads of folk out there have experimented with cutting up things like crunchies and cream eggs etc and putting them in with milk to see what happens. We love ours. It was a Xmas pressie to the family from my mum. An extravagance we would prob not have bought ourselves. I just use Cadbury powder to make hot choc and it works fine. Tastes so nice. I prefer it to the proper sachets. To make a latte you can use the velvetiser to heat and froth the milk, then just make your espresso shot or two, put in a mug and add the hot foamy milk. Any powder will work - I also love crushing up ripple bars, flakes, chopping up terrys chocolate orange etc.
