Likewise the fridge in the room, which had food and drink smeared and rotting all over the inside. On top of this the receptionist was particularly rude and almost didn't let us stay. The hotel doesn't have its own photocopier so they usually use one in a local shop to take passport photocopies. The shop was shut until 9am the next morning and the receptionist insisted we'd have to give him our passports until that time. This despite explaining that we needed to be on a 7am train the next morning.
