Home assistant govee
I did a integration for the Govee API.
That has support for new APIs and devices, and is more flexible than the govee-lan-hass integration. This works in conjunction with my govee-led-wez python library to provide control over Govee-manufactured lights, preferentially using the LAN protocol for local control. It is recommended to wait until you have the key before configuring the integration, as the HTTP API is used to retrieve the names of the devices from your account, and those names influence the entity ids that are set up for the devices. Repeat these steps for each of your devices! Here's what works for me:.

Govee now has a local API for some devices. If the device has a setting to enable local access, then you can use the API. BobFrankston I tried reading through the documentation and I was lost. This is the first step to an integration as integrations require a separate component for the cimmunication with the devices.
The Govee app does have Apple Shortcuts support. Govee also plans to include their appliances in their API, which should be coming in about a week with the 5. In the future, support for these Bluetooth-only Govee devices could be added with the new native Bluetooth support for HomeAssistant. Someone just needs to develop it. I just got a smart kettle from Prime Day and would love to be able to include this in a morning routine. I found this Homebridge Govee plugin developed by bwp91 which has support for the H Kettle according to this request. I run HA in docker and already have mosquitto running as a docker container so I can use zigbee over mqtt,. OK I ran this, looked at the logs in portainer and everything worked perfectly, then I jumpted over the HA and under mqtt I had a new smart kettle entity with ALL the attributes you need. Please let me know below if this works for you and what the model number of your device is so we can start a list of working devices. Unfortunately getState is limited to lights, so we have to work with assumed state which seems to be fine. I was able to get the heater and a humidifier in HA using Homebridge and the homebridge-govee plugin. Am I missing something here?
