The vanilla focus trees are kept intact while switching your focus in to the Cold War ear. Extended Timeline aims to extend the playable time in vanilla Hearts of Iron 4 while still keeping the vanilla fealing. The mod extends the playable timeline by applying new Focus Trees and events based on the outcome of the second world war, these are called scenarios.
