This guide will mainly explain how to sell,trade, and buy things on the GTL. This guide will not gtl pokemon as advanced as the Trade Chat guide, mainly because the GTL is a new function and is very easy to use. This guide will mainly be about tips, and skills on how to get your stuff sold. This tab shows all the Pokemon that are up for trade in the GTL, gtl pokemon.

The Global Trade Link GTL is where other players will list their assets for selling if they do not wish to do announcements in the Trade Chat and direct negotiations and trades with other players. You can always access this system, but it's only possible to make purchases or listings after you get the 4th badge in your first region with your character. You can access this system through the game menu or or pressing P if you are playing on PC or through the computer in a Pokemon Center. Assets purchased through this system while opening it through the menu or P will be sent to your mail; If you open it through the computer, items bought will be sent directly to your bag and Pokemons will be sent to your team if you have slots available for them, otherwise they will be sent to your mail. The GTL also has a search and advanced search systems which you can use to find exactly what you are looking for without the need to browse the pages.

So yeah I started Hoenn, and as I didn't encounter any pokemon I wanted in my team, I just used my starter, and got it to level 30 before the electric gym. Honestly this change should of only been made for traded Pokemon. Having your own OT Pokemon disobey you is stupid. Well my girlfriend is pretty pissed about tis, so I told her "let's go in Unova and when we'll have lvl 25 pokemon there we'll come back and beat the gym in hoenn with them". It only happens if you dont have the badges so idk why you would lvl up to a lvl you cant use without the proper badges, or think you could take sometime over powered to a new region without something going wrong.
