The Toreador's door handle shape seems to follow the shape of the Espada's side vents. The front bumper and subsequently the rear bumper, which is a copy of the front one, may be taken from the Aston Martin Bulldog. The headlights may have drawn inspiration from the Aston Martin Lagonda , while the tail lights are a direct copy of those found on the Alfa Romeo Alfetta GT.
