The first thing you'll notice, across all three games, is that they now have much-improved frame pacing and frame rates in general. Where the initial release was an absolute mess in terms of how it juddered and stuttered along, these ports now run at a pretty much locked 30fps, with a few slight drops to the high 20s here and there. They feel much more playable and smooth as a result and it's great to see that the most immediate, egregious, and noticeable problem has, for the most part, been ironed out.

The game is still fun, funny, and outrageous in it's simplicity. San Andreas is why I bought this. Again this is speculation.

Rockstar has released a number of screenshots for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy on Nintendo Switch ahead of the game's release later this week. The screenshots, which can be found on the Switch section of Rockstar's GTA Trilogy page , show off a range of different remastered scenes from across the three games included in the package. Included within the set are a number of iconic GTA characters from way back when. As can be seen below, there are also a number of more scenic vistas shown off in the collection including the series' Hollywood parody Vinewood and Vice City's Ocean View Hotel. While it perhaps shouldn't be too hard to improve upon the graphics of the original titles in the series - given that they were released almost two decades ago - there's still something to be said for the work that Rockstar has done. From the images shown, the trilogy looks as if it will shape up well on the Switch, where design choices seem to have both bolstered each games' visuals while also retaining a retro feel.
