Glyph of Warding is among the most interesting and versatile options available to defend a fixed location. A deep read of the spell reveals some horrifying rules implications. If the surface or object is moved more than 10 feet from where you cast this spell, the glyph is broken, and the spell ends without being triggered. This prevents players from hauling the glyph around with them or sending exploding runes by mail.

You can further refine the trigger so the spell activates only under certain circumstances or according to physical characteristics such as height or weight , creature kind for example, the ward could be set to affect aberrations or drow , or alignment.

You'd also have to cast Glyph of Warding at 5th level. Copy and move characters between games. First off it costs gp per casting. I don't think you could rule haste as "harmful". They could at least use minor illusion again to create a new illusion, which automatically cancels the shrub. Even if said new illusion is of a "pff" sound made as the shrub disappears, they technically did cast a new illusion, not dismiss the old one. How can we best use that? Does passing through a planar portal violate the "move 10 feet" clause? The handling for area effects is similarly vexing. EDIT: How about "not necromancing 2 years old threads"?
