Georges waymouth
Georges on Waymouth restaurant is widely respected when you're looking for a classy haunt in the CBD. The restaurant is a smartly turned out affair with award-winning Mediterranean dishes. The menu is divided up into entrees, pastas and mains of meat, poultry, pork and seafood, georges waymouth, but the specials board is where the magic is. When the meal is over, sit windowside with georges waymouth European wine and watch the Waymouth Street crowd pass by.
George and his team continually strive for excellence. The restaurant has undergone a major renovation and the results are magnificent. George says that the goal was to reinvent the business, and bring the look and feel of the restaurant in line with the quality of the food and service. And that feel is overt and alluring. The long, wooden tables produce a ligneous charm and large meshed lamp shades act as a focal point, hanging proudly from the ceiling. Customers can sit comfortably amongst beige cushions, and take drinks off of wicker trays. Food wise, there is a strong focus on using fresh, local produce.
