Hello guys, I just discovered what are Gnosis. A Gnosis is an item used by Archons to directly tap into energy from Celestia, genshin gnosis, and is proof of their status as an elemental Archon.

I covered this a bit in my last blog and I also know this has been talked about in the past but I wanted to share some things I noticed about the correlation between the Archon Gnoses and Chess pieces. First we know that one twin woke up before the other and started their journey thru Teyvet only to turn to the abyss when they 'lost' against Celestia or when our twin fully realizes the true intention of the archons. It should also be worth mentioning that both Celestia and the Abyss have parallels to one another and in my opinion its 'two sides to the same coin' so to speak, and where the abyssal order stays within the abyss is most likely a shadow like realm equivalent of Teyvet. I recommend checking out this blog I did for a more info on the parallels however it is also a long blog that has several theories within because I go on tangents tho I'm going to try and keep on a singular topic for this one! We know that with pawns if they are able to make it across the board to the other side they can 'become' one of the special pieces that had been captured. This is much like how Vision wielders can have a chance to become an Archon, most likely when they 'overcome' the abyss or prove themselves to Celestia and they take up the role of a fallen Archon. Now this means that the 8 special pieces are Archons, with most likely the unknown 8th element being associated with Khaenri'ah nation which I will get into below. Here we can see that Geo is definitely a Rook. Not to mention rooks are towers, which are constructs which could coincide with Geo being able to summon geo constructs. With the Shape of the Snezhnaya Nation's visions I can't help put assume they would be the Bishop as well as for other reasons explained below pardon the bad edit lol. As for the Inazuma's visions, I can't help but assume that they are the Queen since their 'halo' on the visions is similar to the Queen crown in a way, and most likely will have jewels where the circles are much like Venti's black diamond.

The Gnosis is a small chess piece that represents an element, one of seven, to be in an Archon's possession. One of the primary themes that tie together Genshin Impact's lore is the presence of Elemental powers in Teyvat. These are commanded by those who wield a Gnosis or a Vision—two similar, yet completely different objects with unclear origins, and can be taken away from their wielders. In my Opinion the possible unnamed element would be a knight and would potentially have the role 'filled' by Dain after the fall of Khaenri'ah.
