The year-old vanished on December 8, sparking a wide police hunt after her clothes and other personal effects were found in a park. Searches centred on the River Wensum, which runs through the park, but underwater checks by trained divers were hampered by poor visibility. The hunt was effectively ended after the body was recovered several hundred feet from where she is believed to have gone into the water. Norfolk Police confirmed it was not formally identified as being Mrs Lord until yesterday. The mother-of-three pictured walked out of her work an hour before her shift was due to end. A post-mortem examination found 'no indications of any third-party involvement' with Mrs Lord pictured. The married mother-of-three left work 75 minutes early on Friday afternoon. CCTV footage released by police showed her apparently happy and smiling at the gin concession in Jarrolds Department Store where she worked. But further footage showed her minutes later running through town with her coat over her arm, dodging through moving traffic on a busy road at one point. She spent around 30 minutes at the Anglican cathedral before walking towards Wensum Park, where a witness saw someone matching her likeness just after 4pm. Items of her clothing were found a few hours later, along with her rings, mobile phone and handbag. Her coat was in the river.
Mrs Lord's clothing, mobile phone, glasses and jewellery, including two rings, were later discovered at various locations in Wensum Park.
