The theme of the season revolved around time, and was the final season of Chapter 1. The story continues from the storyline that started in Season 9. However, in order to defeat the monster, Mecha was forced to tear The Zero Point from its containment from The Vault, and it was left at Loot Lake following the battle. It's outer shell was cracked, causing its inner core to destabilize rapidly in the days leading up to Season X. The Zero Point reached a critical point and exploded, causing a Reality Wave that brought back elements from other realities and timelines on the Island such as an alternate version of Dusty Depot which was about to be hit by the meteor. A member of The Seven known as The Scientist arrived outside The Loop at the precise moment of the explosion, which put it and his meteor on pause and created a time bubble around the Zero Point pausing every object inside it.
