Chapter 3: Season 4 , also known as Season 22 , was the twenty-second season of Fortnite: Battle Royale. It started on September 18th , and concluded on December 3rd , with the Fracture Live Event , ending Chapter 3. The official theme of the season was Paradise , but it was themed around a mysterious substance, Chrome , that had appeared on the island and would consume it. Loopers celebrate after The Seven defeated the Imagined Order. The Reality Tree appears, changing the southwestern part of the island into a Reality biome. Reality Roots grew and smaller Reality Trees appear from the roots, changing several locations. The Seven investigated the Reality Tree and the Zero Point but most of their members mysteriously went missing. After an unknown substance called Chrome began to appear on the Island, the remaining members of The Seven go into a secret research base under Sanctuary to research it. With no one left to defend the Island and The Zero Point dormant, The Herald appears and uses her abilities to create a Sanctum over the remains of Sanctuary, and continue spreading Chrome across the Island. Despite the efforts of No Sweat Insurance to keep most locations safe by lifting them into the air, the Chrome still manages to spread to nearly every location on the Island as The Herald's goal was to reach the Reality Tree. A last resistance of loopers attempt to defend the Reality Tree against The Herald. The resistance fails as The Herald fuses with the Reality Tree and covers all the Island in Chrome , ending with the destruction of both Artemis and Apollo.

You can spot Lucky Landing on the edge of the fortnite season 4 biome to the east, or directly south of Fatal Fields. Wailing Woods is on the east coast of the island, found in the northeast corner of the map, just southwest from Risky Reels.

Fortnite Season 4 is creeping ever closer, and before you know it, we'll be leaving the current season's watery depths for something new. Season 3 featured plenty of significant changes, not least of which was the dramatic flooding of half of the map, burying familiar landmarks. Over the course of the season, the water has receded back into the ocean, revealing new and old locations. Epic has now confirmed that Thor, and quite a few other Marvel characters, are on the way for Fortnite season 4. These aren't the first superbeings to appear in Fortnite: we've already had Thanos, Captain America , Deadpool , and even three characters from X-Force. As for the story of Fortnite season 4, the comic book that you can read from the battle pass menu gives us a pretty clear picture of how Thor came to the world of Fortnite. Thor, newly crowned king of Asgard, was minding his own business when Galactus, the planet-swallowing villain appeared and warned him of the approaching "Black Winter," AKA the death of all things. Thor and Galactus partnered up to find five planets that would give Galactus the power to defeat the Black Winter, and successfully evacuated one planet's populace. While on their way to planet two, Galactus and Thor spotted a bright rift releasing seemingly infinite amounts of energy.

Fortnite season 4

The latest season of Fortnite — Last Resort — is now live and it brings a new battle pass with plenty of skins to the game alongside new points of interest on the map, returning weapons, new items, and more. The theme of this season is centered around heists, both of the sneaky and guns-blazing kind, and curiously, a vampire at the heart of it all. Epic Games says these three locations are strongly defended bases with cameras, laser grids, and guards. The Business Turret is new to the battle royale, which looks like a briefcase in your hand but transforms into a destructive turret when thrown. On the vehicle front, the Nitro Fang is now live in Fortnite. It features multiple looks, including one that makes it look like a pizza delivery car. Unvaulted weapons now live include the Remote Explosive , Suppressed Sniper Rifle , and Suppressed Pistol , which has been reworked and is now fully automatic. A new addition with Season 4 is the Forecast Tower guard. Survivor Medals are new, too, which are earned by surviving.
