Jane is trying to get custody of Abby, likely so she can receive the government aid for raising her. However, the caseworker tells Mike that he needs to get a job in order to keep custody.

We then get a glimpse of Mike and Abby at the dining room table, trying to resume life as normal. The suit furthers the horror themes by turning something that appeals to kids — a bunny rabbit — into the source of their demise.
